The SOG Crew hails from Anaheim, CA and has been on the music/ministry grind for quite some time.  As far back as the late 90’s, the head pastor of the SOG ministry “BattleAx” has been serving the Lord through hip hop music.  Through his journey of evangelism and discipleship, BattleAx recruited a young Revolutionary to join the squad and off they went.  Numerous band members would circulate in and out but Revolutionary and DJ Siren have withstood the ministry grind.  And now, with an added force of emcees, dancers, and singers, the SOG ministry has grown to be a loved and cherished ministry throughout the nation.

In support of their recently released “Up that Game” LP, (which has moved over 50,000 units independently) the SOG crew is proud to announce that they are releasing an APP.  The APP that’s being sold on the iPod Touch and the iPhone is only $0.99, which includes everything you need to stay in touch with the crew as they travel and tour preaching the love of the Lord through hip hop music.  Photos, new music samples, and even games are in the APP.  But Videos galore is what you’ll find most intriguing because they also are the producers and founders of Elite TV, a webisode of some sort, that shows highlights of various events the crew has rocked.

August 8, 2009 in the city of Norwalk, CA at the Node bookstore the SOG Crew will be joined by the likes of Brown King (a CSR affiliate), Ricky Luciano, and others to celebrate this monumental moment.  The APP is a tiny mechanism that can be accessed extremely fast if you own the Apple gadgets, but it means a whole lot to the SOG crew to have another vehicle of communication to add to their arsenal.

This is just another testament to their faithfulness in serving the Lord as He opens yet another door for the Gospel to come forth.
