PR Log (Press Release) – Aug 18, 2009 – Emerging acoustic artist Jetty Rae, hails from Ann Arbor, Michigan but her music spans a much wider audience.  Jetty Rae was chosen among numerous artist entries for this incredible award and opportunity.

The JetBlue Airways website describes the national competition as giving “musical artists from across the country the chance for an opportunity to perform live in JetBlue’s new Terminal 5 at JFK and also at the Bowery Presents’ Terminal 5 venue in New York City.”

OurStage, one of the competition sponsors, describes Jetty’s music:  ”Vocally, Rae is a combination of ether and soul—singing whimsical songs that pack an emotional punch.  As she weaves violins and keyboards into her arrangements, keeping her melodies light, sweet and unpredictable—see the undulating refrains of “I Love You”— she proves she’s got meat on her acoustic bones.”

Jetty’s performance in New York is August 21st and 22nd.  She is currently working on a new album called “Nobody” a title which was actually voted on by her myspace fans.  Her current record “Sunshine” is available on iTunes, Amazon.com, and via social netowrking sites Facebook and Myspace.
